Tata Safari, Harrier get ADAS updates and new colour options

Tata Motors recently updated the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite over OTP for the two full-size SUVs — the Harrier and the Safari. Both the SUVs offer ADAS suite from Adventure + A trim onwards. The ADAS range of the Harrier and the Safari start from Rs 21.69 lakh and Rs 22.49 lakh, ex-showroom. 

ADAS Suite: What’s new for Safari, Harrier? 

The new OTP update for the ADAS package in the Safari and the Harrier offers two new features — lane keep assist and adaptive steering assist only for the automatic trims. The ADAS suite is already packed with the following adaptive cruise control for automatic, autonomous emergency braking, forward and rear collision warning, traffic sign recognition, blind spot detection and much more.

The Safari and the Harrier are one of the safest SUVs in the Indian market. The SUVs scored a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP with seven airbags, an Electronic Stability Program, tyre pressure monitoring system, emergency assistance call and much more. At the Global NCAP, the two SUVs scored 33.05 out of 34.00 points for adult safety and 45.00 out of 49.00 points for child safety.

New colour options 

The Harrier portfolio offers multiple paint schemes for various trims. The entry-level Smart and one variant above, the Pure, are now available with Ash Grey. The Adventure trim’s signature Seaweed Green colour is available in Fearless. The two premium shades, Pebble Grey and Coral Red is available in Smart and Pure. The popular Lunar White colour is now available in all variants. 

The Smart and Pure variants in the Safari get Stardust Ash and Galactic Sapphire. The top variants, the Adventure and Accomplished, get Lunar Slate paint scheme. The Stellar Frost colour is available across the Safari range while the Accomplished variant gets Cosmic Gold.
