India-bound Honda City gets upgrades: Set to arrive in 2025

Once considered the leading sedan in the Indian market, the iconic Honda City has sadly fallen from grace. The City is set to receive a minor facelift for the Brazilian market, and similar updates are anticipated for the 2025 City in India. Its heyday is now behind, as it managed to sell only 895 units, while its rivals, the Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia, comfortably surpassed the 1,000-unit sales mark. Despite this decline, the City still commands significant respect, but its downturn is largely attributed to the rapidly expanding SUV segment, which is overshadowing the sedan market. Here’s what to expect from the 2025 City facelift.

2025 Honda City facelift: What’s new? 

The 2025 City’s front fascia looks sleeker than the current generation as it sports a tweaked and slimmer grille with horizontal chrome studs. It continues to house sharp-looking all-LED headlights with a thick chrome strip running over the lights and the front grille. The front bumper and air dam mirror the same design as the grille and continue to house foglamps. It comes with all LED lights including foglamps, taillamps and automatic headlights. It continues to get 16-inch alloy wheels.

2025 Honda City facelift: Interiors

The cabin is a combination of black and white panels with the top model getting leather upholstery. The dashboard panel is predominantly piano black in colour while the door gets some chrome elements. The City comes with a semi-analogue instrument cluster with a 7-inch TFT digital display. It has an infotainment system with the usual features like wireless connectivity, myHonda Connect and multiple Type-A and Type-C charging ports with a 12 Volt socket.

2025 Honda City facelift: Safety
