Diwali Discounts: BYD Seal offers up to Rs 2.5 lakh

BYD India has introduced festive discounts on its flagship electric vehicle, the Seal, which was launched in March this year. Starting at Rs 41 lakh, the Seal is available in three variants — Dynamic, Premium and Performance. The Seal range is offering benefits up to Rs 2.5 lakh based on the trim.

Ever since the launch, the top-of-the-line Seal Performance’s price tag remained Rs 53 lakh, ex-showroom. Good news for those looking for a sporty-looking electric sedan with blistering pace as BYD is offering a flat cash discount of Rs 2 lakh. The electric vehicle manufacturer has additional deals like a 3-year service and maintenance package worth Rs 50,000.

The Performance trim has an all-wheel drivetrain, packed with dual motors on each axle and has an output of 523 bhp and 670 Nm of torque. According to BYD, the Performance does 0 to 100 km in 3.8 seconds. The top model is powered by an 82.56 kWh battery with a range of up to 58 km (NEDC).

Diwali Discounts: BYD Seal Premium discounts up to Rs 1 lakh

The mid-range Seal Premium is offering deals worth up to Rs 1 lakh. This includes a cash discount of Rs 50,000 and a 3-year service and maintenance package worth Rs 50,000. The Seal Premium is a rear-wheel-drive EV and gets a 82.56 kWh battery. It has an output of 308 bhp and 360 Nm of torque and offers a drive range of up to 680 km. The Seal Premium’s MRP is Rs 45.55 lakh. 

BYD is not offering any discount on the entry-level, Dynamic, which is priced at Rs 41 lakh, ex-showroom.
