New Kia Carnival Limousine fuel efficiency revealed

Kia launched the all-new Carnival Limousine in India earlier this month. Available in a single fully-loaded trim, the premium MPV is priced at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom). In its latest iteration, the Carnival is brought to the country as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kit which is locally assembled at Kia’s Anantapur facility.

At the time of its launch, Kia didn’t reveal the fuel efficiency figures of the new Carnival Limousine. The Korean carmaker has now announced the mileage of the luxury MPV officially. The new Carnival Limousine returns an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 14.85 kmpl which is 9.95 kmph more than the outgoing version.

Therefore, with a 72-litre fuel tank, the new Carnival should ideally offer a full tank range of 1,069 km. In its present iteration, the Carnival is only offered in a seven-seat version with a 2+2+3 seating layout.
