As we roll into 2025, various automakers have announced a price hike, including Ducati, BMW Motorrad, and BMW, amongst others. Now, Aprilia has announced a price hike for the RS457, effective January 1, 2025. The Aprilia RS457 will be costlier by Rs 10,000, which will make it Rs 4.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The price hike was announced via an official statement by Aprilia.

In an official statement, the company said, Piaggio Group will increase the price for the much sought-after mid-performance sports bike, the Aprilia RS 457 from 1st January 2025. The price increase will apply to all three colours available for the Aprilia RS457. The planned price increase will be Rs 10,000 of the current ex-showroom across India. The 2025 Aprilia RS457 pricing will be at Rs 4.20 lakh, ex-showroom – Maharashtra.

Aprilia RS457 — Technical specifications
The Aprilia RS457 was a much-anticipated motorcycle as this is the company’s first offering in the sub-500cc category. The motorcycle sports a full fairing and gets a host of electronic aids such as dual-channel ABS, ride modes, and various levels of traction control. There is also an optional quickshifter as part of the accessories list.
Powering the motorcycle is a 457cc, liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that makes 47bhp and 43.5Nm of torque with the help of a six-speed gearbox. This makes it the most powerful in its class and competes directly with the KTM RC390,
