Mahindra XEV 7e trademarked — Here’s what to expect

Mahindra is on a roll with its electric SUVs and after launching two SUVs, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, the carmaker has trademarked another SUV now, the XEV 7e. The latest Mahindra XEV 7e will be in line with the XEV 9e and will feature a traditional SUV design instead of a coupe look. Let’s take a closer look at the details.

Mahindra XEV 7e — Design

The leaked details over the Internet reveal a few details about the vehicle and its design. The XEV 7e gets a blanked-out front grille, while the LED DRL extends the length of the bonnet while maintaining its aggressive lighting design.

The Mahindra XEV 7e gets flush door handles, skid plates, colour-contrasting ORVMs, and a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV gets vertically stacked headlights and the turn signals mounted on the mirrors.

Mahindra XEV 7e — Battery specifications and features

Technical details of the new Mahindra XEV 7e are not out yet, however, expect Mahindra to offer the 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs paired to a single motor that drives the rear wheels. Mahindra could also offer a dual-motor configuration, making it an AWD version. More details about the battery specifications will be known in due course of time.

In terms of features, the Mahindra XEV 7e is expected to get three digital displays similar to the XEV 9e, along with a panoramic sunroof, powered seats, wireless charging, ventilated seats, powered tailgate, dual-spoke steering wheel, multiple airbags, ADAS Level 2, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and more.
