The sketches are usually the designer’s take on the overall looks of the vehicle and they are close to the production vehicle. The images reveal a muscular design on the two SUVs, with the BE 6e showcasing a sporty profile, sculpted surfaces, and aerodynamic features. The XEV 9e expresses sophistication and performance, with a bold SUV coupe design.

Both the electric SUVs will be underpinned by the INGLO skateboard architecture, which is designed to host an all-electric vehicle platform. The platform smartly houses the battery pack so that the space is utilised to the max to offer better weight distribution. The platform can also accommodate different drive types: front-wheel-drive, rear-wheel-drive, and all-wheel-drive.

The two Mahindra SUVs will come with two battery pack options – 59kWh and 79kWh – which Mahindra claims will have the best range in the segment. The platform can support charging up to 175 kW, which can juice up the battery from 20–80 percent in 20 minutes.
