JSW MG Windsor is best-selling EV in October

JSW MG Motor India achieved a new sales record with its newly launched MG Windsor in October 2024, selling 3,116 units. This accounted for almost 30% of the total Passenger Electric Car sales that month. 

The company saw a 31% year-on-year growth, selling 7,045 units in October 2024, the highest monthly sales since its launch. Its strong focus on sustainable mobility is paying off, with its NEV (New Energy Vehicle) range driving steady month-on-month growth. The company stated that in October, NEVs had made up 70% of total sales.

The CUV MG Windsor is an automatic transmission vehicle with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor type and gives maximum power of 136 and 200 Nm of torque. The battery capacity is 38 kWh with a maximum fast charging capability of 45kW. The safety features include an electric parking brake, 6 Airbags (dual front, side, curtain), rear parking sensors, an electronic stability program (ESP), an emergency stop signal (ESS), all 4-disc brakes, child lock, follow me home headlamps, all seats seatbelt reminder, 3-point seat belt (all seats), and manual anti-glare inside rear view mirror among others.
