Tracking buzzing stocks: Adani Ports, M&M among top gainers; Titan, Asian Paints Among the Top Losers on December 26 – Check complete list here

Indian stock markets ended on a mixed note on December 26 after a volatile trading session. The Sensex ended almost unchanged, dipping just 0.39 points to settle at 78,472.48, while the Nifty managed a slight gain of 22.55 points or 0.10 per cent, closing at 23,750.20.

The Nifty Bank index also ended the day in the red, ending the day at 51,170.70, down by 62.30 points or 0.12 per cent.

Sensex Top Gainers

Among the 30 stocks on the Sensex pack, Adani ports led the pack, surging by 5.03 per cent, followed by M&M with a 1.68 per cent increase, and Maruti, up by 1.49 per cent. Sun Pharma and Bharti Airtel followed the top 5 gainers list, ending the day in green, up by 1.31 per cent and 1.10 per cent, respectively.

Sensex Top Losers

The top 5 laggards on the Sensex 30 pack included Titan, shedding by 1.06 per cent, followed by Asian Paints, declining 0.99 per cent. Zomato fell by 0.64 per cent, Tech Mahindra down 0.60 per cent and Nestle India, decreased by 0.58 per cent. The list further followed with Reliance, KT, Bajaj Finserv, TCS, NTPC.

Nifty 50 Top Gainers

The top gainers on the Nifty included Adani Ports, which surged by 5.22 per cent, followed by M&M, up by 1.90 per cent. SBI Life saw a surge of 1.66 per cent. Furthermore, in the top 5 gainers Maruti and Shriram Finance posted a gain of 1.63 per cent and 1.56 per cent, respectively.

Nifty 50 Top Losers

On the other side, the top losers on the Nifty 50 were led by Titan, declining by 1.17 per cent. The top 5 laggards list followed closely by Asian Paints and Tata Consumer, decreasing by 0.99 per cent and 0.80 per cent, respectively. JSW steel fell by 0.80 per cent and Grasim dropped by 0.67 per cent, closing the day on a red note.

Nifty Midcap 50 gainers

In the Nifty Midcap 50 today, gainers included CG Power and Industrial Solutions (4.11), Voltas (1.92), HPCL (1.88), KPIT Technologies (1.62), Vodafone Idea (1.61).
