Protean eGov Technologies has received a massive Rs 1,160 crore order from UIDAI. In an exchange filing, the company said on Monday that it has received the order from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to establish and run district-level Aadhar Seva Kendra in 188 districts across India.
Protean eGov Technologies said that the company will provide appointment/walk-in-based Aadhaar Enrolment, Update and other miscellaneous Aadhaar Services at the Aadhar Seva Kendra in 188 districts. The order spans a period of six years.

The latest order from UIDAI should come as a relief for the investors of Protean eGov Technologies, as the company’s stock hasn’t been able to really pick up in the last 3 months.
Protean’s stock fell from Rs 1,428 on May 16 to Rs 1,143 on May 19 and Rs 1,048 on May 20. For the next 3 months, the company’s stock kept sliding down and reached a low of Rs 719.75 on August 12. In the past 3 months, Protean eGov Technologies’ stock has lost about 40 per cent of its value.

However, in the past week, the company’s stock has been slowly picking up. In the last 5 trading days, Protean’s share has gained 9.26 per cent. However, on Monday, the stock came down from Rs 855 in the morning to Rs 818 at the end of the day.
Protean eGov dividend payment
Protean eGov Technologies has announced a dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for the fiscal year 2024-25. The company has set August 29 as the record date to determine the eligible shareholders for dividend payment.
