Vinod Behaty appointed Ambuja CEO

Ambuja Cements has appointed Vinod Behaty as its chief executive officer (CEO), the company said in a filing to the exchanges on Friday. Behaty previously held the position of chief financial officer (CFO) at the Adani Group company.

In addition to taking charge as CEO, Behaty will also serve as additional and wholetime director on the company’s board, the cement major said in the exchange filing.

The company’s board also re-appointed Ajay Kapur as managing director for a term of two years.

Rakesh Tiwary will take over as the company’s CFO on Behaty’s elevation.

Other senior management personnel appointments at the company include Madhavi Isanaka as chief digital officer, and Vaibhav Dixit as head manufacturing.

All appointments will come into effect from April 1, 2025, Ambuja Cements said.
