Adani Green Energy receives LoA from UPPCL for 400 MW solar project

Adani Green Energy Ltd on Friday announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Holding Twelve Ltd has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL). The LOA, which was received by the company on March 27, 2025, is for the supply of 400 MW solar power from grid connected solar PV power projects to be developed in Rajasthan at a tariff of Rs 2.57/kWh for a period of 25 years.

In a regulatory filing, the company said, “Adani Renewable Energy Holding Twelve Limited (AREH12L), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for supply of 400 MW solar power from grid connected solar PV power project to be developed in the state of Rajasthan at a tariff of Rs 2.57/kWh for a period of 25 years.”

The company confirmed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in UPPCL.

Earlier in January, Adani Green Energy had released its fiscal third quarter earnings with a profit surge of 85 per cent. The company had recorded Q3 profit at Rs 474 crore as compared to Rs 256 crore in the same period last year. The company had posted revenue from operations at Rs 2,365 crore, reporting a growth of 2.3 per cent as against Rs 2,311 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares of Adani Green Energy were down 0.05 per cent at 1:00 pm at a trading price of Rs 959.15.
