Domino’s and Swiggy’s quick food delivery arm Bolt announced a partnership on Monday, saying that the brand’s pizzas would now be available in 10 minutes. This makes Domino’s the first pizza brand in the country to promise such a rapid delivery.
In a statement, Swiggy said, “With this partnership, Domino’s menu items will be available on Bolt, providing customers with a wide selection of their favorite pizzas, sides, and beverages ordering, delivered in just 10 minutes.”

The company already partners with Zomato’s new 15-minute food delivery service for quick delivery. On both platforms, Domino’s handles the last-mile delivery.
Domino’s originally promised a 30-minute pizza delivery across various cities and became one of the first QSR chains to actually implement it.
In an analyst call after the announcement of Q3FY25 results last month, Hari S Bhartia, CEO of Jubilant Foodworks, said that they have launched 20-minute delivery under Domino’s and are working on improving technology for the same.

This trend comes at a time when restaurants and food delivery platforms are working on reducing delivery times.
Bolt, which now accounts for 9% of Swiggy’s total food orders, is competing with Zomato’s in-app quick food delivery feature.
Zomato’s quick commerce arm, Blinkit, has also launched a separate 10-minute food delivery app Bistro, which competes with both Zepto’s Cafe, which delivers food from a centralised kitchen.
Last month, IPO-bound unicorn Rebel Foods also jumped into the fray and launched their 15-minute food delivery app QuickiES in Mumbai.

“The company will have to increase the number of riders significantly to reach the location in 10 minutes. This would mean a significant pressure on margins, which are already struggling due to a sluggish demand,” he said, adding that it would, however, be an attractive proposition for customers.
