PM Kisan Yojana 19th installment update: Check disbursement date, eKYC details and more

The 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be disbursed to eligible farmers by the end of February 2025, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has confirmed. According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will personally release the funds during his visit to Bihar on February 24, where he will also participate in agricultural programs and launch various state development initiatives.

To receive benefits under the PM-Kisan scheme, farmers must complete the e-KYC process, which ensures that the financial aid reaches the intended beneficiaries directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts, preventing fraudulent claims.

Farmers can complete their e-KYC using three modes:

  • OTP-Based e-KYC: Available on the PM-KISAN portal and mobile app
  • Biometric-Based e-KYC: Can be done at Common Service Centres (CSCs) and State Seva Kendras (SSKs)
  • Face Authentication-Based e-KYC: Accessible via the PM-Kisan mobile app
