Gold, silver rate today on December 24 in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata: Here are latest prices in other cities

Gold prices have fallen 0.9% compared to a week back while Silver prices fell 1.9% during the same time frame. The decrease in prices can be attributed to the lack of new geopolitical tensions globally. 

“With the holiday season beginning, global market participation is expected to decline, likely leading to range-bound and sideways movement in gold prices. In the near term, gold is expected to trade within the range of Rs 75,800 to Rs 76,900 in MCX,” said Jateen Trivedi, Vice President and Research Analyst of Commodity and Currency at LKP Securities.

Gold and silver rates today, December 24

The 24-carat gold rate in India was Rs 76,130 per 10 grams on December 24. The rate for 24-carat gold per gram is Rs 7,613. While the rate of 22-carat gold was Rs 69,786 per 10 grams.

The price of 24-carat gold has fallen 0.9% in the last seven days. It has slipped by 1.3% in the last ten days. The silver is available to Indian customers today at a price of Rs 88,910 per kilogram. 

“Gold is expected to trade with a slightly positive bias in the very short term. However, stellar US 3Q GDP growth rate and retail sales (November) data and the Fed’s hawkish shift will cap the upside. ETF flows are not very encouraging either,” said Praveen Singh, Associate Vice President of Fundamental Currencies and Commodities at Mirae Asset Sharekhan.

Gold rate in Mumbai on December 24

The Gold rate in Mumbai is Rs 76,130/10 grams today. On December 23, the gold was available for Rs 76,460/10 grams. A week back, on December 17, gold was sold for Rs 76,850/10 grams.

Silver rate in Mumbai on December 24

Silver rate in Mumbai was Rs 88,910/Kg on December 24, while it was priced at Rs 88,270/Kg and a week ago the price was Rs 90,610.

Gold rate in Delhi on December 24

On December 24, the gold rate in Delhi is Rs 76,000/10 grams. The gold was quoted at Rs 76,330/10 grams on December 23. The rate of 24-karat gold was Rs 76,710/10 grams a week ago. 

Silver rate in Delhi on December 24

The silver rate in Delhi was Rs 88,760/Kg on December 24. The price of silver was Rs 88,120/Kg on December 23.
