Ola Consumer has begun testing 10-minute food delivery services in select areas of Bengaluru through the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) network. The service is currently available via the Ola Cabs app’s food delivery section in select areas of the city.
The company plans a nationwide rollout in the coming weeks, pending pilot results. Ola currently offers food and beverage (F&B) services through ONDC in limited cities, alongside grocery and pharmaceutical delivery.

ONDC CEO Thampy Koshy on Tuesday said that Ola ranks among the top two platforms in the network’s F&B segment. Recently rebranded as Ola Consumer, the company also converted to a public limited company last month, signaling potential IPO plans.
The development intensifies competition in quick commerce, with rivals launching similar services. Zomato’s Blinkit has introduced Bistro for 10-minute deliveries, while Zepto and Swiggy have launched Zepto Cafe and Swiggy Bolt respectively. Magicpin has also entered the space with magicNOW, offering 15-minute deliveries.
