ICICI Pru Life Women-Specific Health Insurance: Lump-sum payouts, premium guarantee for 30 years and premium holiday

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance in collaboration with Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) has launched ICICI Pru Wish, a first-of-its-kind health product catering to women-specific critical illnesses and surgeries.

ICICI Pru Wish, a product developed keeping in mind unique health challenges faced by Indian women, will offer immediate lump sum payout upon diagnosis of a critical illness along with hassle-free claims settlement.

“ICICI Pru Wish offers an instant payout of up to 100% of the health cover amount on diagnosis of critical illnesses such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, uterine cancer, and heart diseases. Unlike traditional plans that reimburse costs, this product provides lump-sum payouts, offering customers flexibility in managing their treatment and financial obligations,” ICICI Prudential Life Insurance said in a statement.

ICICI Pru Wish offers premium guarantees, premium holiday features

Addressing concerns about rising premiums, ICICI Pru Wish offers premium guarantees for up to 30 years. Additionally, customers can avail a premium holiday for up to 12 months during the policy tenure, providing financial flexibility during challenging times.

Optional Coverage for Maternity and Newborn Care: The product also includes an option to cover maternity-related complications and newborn congenital illnesses, further addressing the unique health needs of women.
