The deadline for this free service was initially set for June 14, 2024, then extended to September 14, 2024, and once again to December 14, 2024, before this latest extension.

Individuals looking to update their Aadhaar details now have until June 14 to do so, following an extension from the original deadline of December 14.

Steps to update Aadhaar details online
- Visit the UIDAI Self-Service Portal: Go to the official UIDAI website.
- Log In: Enter your Aadhaar number, Captcha code, and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Navigate to Document Update: Go to the ‘Document Update’ section and verify your existing details.
- Upload Documents: Select the appropriate document type from the drop-down menu and upload scanned copies of your supporting documents for verification.
- Note the Service Request Number: Make sure to save the service request number for tracking the status of your Aadhaar update.

Offline updates for biometric changes
