Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced on Thursday a five-year deal with Telenor Denmark (TnDK) to provide ITIS-managed services. The partnership entails managing TnDK’s IT infrastructure through TCS’s delivery centre in Europe.
Telenor Denmark, the second-largest mobile operator in Denmark, serves over 1.6 million subscribers. Over the past six years, TCS has leveraged its machine-first delivery model to modernise TnDK’s IT infrastructure.

The partnership aims to maintain uninterrupted business continuity with no impact on operations. TCS will leverage its experience managing TnDK’s infrastructure to improve digital assets, including deploying advanced automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and user experiences.

Akhilesh Tiwari, pesident of communications, media and information services at TCS, said: “Using our proximity delivery centre capabilities in Europe, we will support Telenor Denmark in achieving operational delivery excellence.”
TCS highlighted its long-standing engagement in the telecom sector, where it partners with over 160 telecom companies globally. With 35,000 dedicated professionals, TCS supports five of the top 10 global telecom operators, four of the top six in Europe, and six of the top seven in North America.

In addition to this partnership, TCS recently collaborated with the Bank of Bhutan to modernise its digital core using the TCS BaNCS Global Banking Platform. This initiative is set to optimise the bank’s operations and integrate seamlessly with public services in Bhutan’s digital ecosystem.
