New-gen Honda Amaze launch tomorrow: What to expect?

Honda Cars India is all geared up to launch the all-new third generation Amaze in the country. Ahead of its launch scheduled tomorrow, i.e., 4 December 2024, the Japanese carmaker is creating hype on social media by sharing teasers of the upcoming iteration of the compact sedan.

At the same time, the new-gen Amaze has been spotted on more than a couple of occasions in the recent past. The launch comes at a time when Amaze’s prime rival— Maruti Suzuki Dzire— recently received a generation upgrade a few weeks back. Ahead of its launch, here’s a quick rundown of what to expect from the third-gen Honda Amaze.

New-gen Honda Amaze: Expected design

Honda had previously shared sketches of the upcoming new Amaze, and it’s clear that the sedan is undergoing a significant transformation. The new model adopts a more dynamic and modern design language, drawing inspiration from its larger siblings– City and Elevate. The front fascia is particularly striking, with a low-slung hood featuring sharp creases that echo the design of the current City.

The grille, though reminiscent of the Elevate’s robust design, is more refined and less imposing. The sleek LED headlights, connected by a chrome strip, add a touch of elegance. The aggressive front bumper further enhances the car’s sporty appeal. Moving to the side profile, the clean lines and character line running from the headlights to the taillights create a sleek and sporty silhouette. New alloy wheel designs complete the look.

The rear end of the new Amaze bears a strong resemblance to the City, with a low-profile boot spoiler and stretched LED taillights. Overall, the new Amaze promises a significant upgrade in terms of design and style, making it a more compelling option in the compact sedan segment.
