Mahindra BE 6e: Top 5 feature highlights

Mahindra has launched the BE 6e and the XEV 9e electric SUVs, the first two models from the brand’s Electric Origin range of vehicles. Both SUVs stand out for their extensive list of features making them the leader in passenger vehicle space. Let us look at some of the segment-leading features offered in Mahindra BE 6e.

1. MAIA: The maya of AI

The BE 6e is built on the new Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture (MAIA – pronounced as “maya”) which Mahindra dubs it as Software on Wheels (SOW). It is the first time in the history of the Indian automobile industry where AI has been integrated into a vehicle with an Ethernet backbone and employed as an architecture on which this car is built since it supports a wide range of features. This architecture runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295, which is rated as the fastest automotive grade chipset.

2. Automatic/Mobile parking

Until recently, flagship luxury cars came equipped with full parking assist but Mahindra has now introduced fully automated parking with the BE 6e. In fact, you don’t even need to be behind the steering wheel to operate the car while parking. You can simply park the car using Mahindra’s new smartphone application or the key fob and the car automatically performs the duties without the need of any human intervention.

3. Sentry mode: Security always

Think of a security setup consisting of CCTV cameras installed in your home and then the same setup being available in your car. With Mahindra’s Sentry mode one can take note of the BE 6e’s security through the brand’s smartphone application. Mahindra has introduced a feature called Secure360 which utilises 5 radars and 1 vision camera offering surveillance and protection from intruders. Owners can watch livefeed and recording of their vehicle on their phone.
