Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e Launch in India Live Updates: Mahindra is all set to begin a new chapter in the electric vehicle (EV) industry by introducing its first two Born Electric range of vehicles– XEV 9e and BE 6e. Along with these two Born Electric models, Mahindra’s in-house developed modular skateboard EV architecture named INGLO will also be making its official debut at Unlimit India at the Mahindra Research Valley near Chennai.

Like all Born Electric Mahindra models, the XEV 9e and BE 6e will be underpinned by the INGLO platform which can be had with different configurations. The entire automotive industry is keenly awaiting the launch of Mahindra & Mahindra’s upcoming born electric range of SUVs which broke covers a couple of years ago in their concept stages.

Powering the XEV 9e and BE 6e is a compact three-in-one powertrain which dishes out 210 kW (282 bhp) and 380 Nm of peak torque. 0 to 100 kmph acceleration for the BE 6e is 6.7 seconds and for the XEV 9e is 6.8 seconds.

In terms of dimensions, the XEV 9e measures 4,789 mm in length, ground clearance of 207 mm, boot space of 663 litres and a frunk of 150 litres. The BE 6e has a length of 4,371 mm, ground clearance of 207 mm and boot space of 455 litres and 45 litres front frunk.
