2025 Honda Amaze spied for first time ahead of launch next week

Honda is all set to launch the third generation of Amaze on 4 December 2024. It comes at a time when Maruti has just launched the new fourth generation Dzire– Amaze’s prime competitor, a couple of weeks ago. The company recently released design sketches of the upcoming compact sedan.

However, the upcoming Amaze has been spotted on very few occasions until now. Usually, new cars are spotted on numerous occasions while they are being tested on the roads, but that hasn’t been the case with the upcoming Amaze. Just a week ahead of its official debut, a test mule of the new Amaze has been caught on camera.

This prototype of the compact sedan has reportedly been caught on camera in Lucknow. The uncamouflaged vehicle seen in the latest spy images is wrapped in the distinct shade of Obsidian Blue. The latest spy shots reveal that the new-gen Amaze will receive an evolutionary update as far as design is concerned.

2025 Honda Amaze: Exterior Design

It should be noted that the first-gen Amaze made its debut in 2013 which was followed by the second-gen model which came out in 2018. The last notable update the Amaze received was in 2021 with a mid-cycle facelift. The images confirm a reworked front face featuring new LED projector headlamps and integrated DRLs, redesigned grille with a chrome insert, LED fog lamps, and a reprofiled bumper.

A significant revision is evident in the front fascia, featuring a novel octagonal grille with a honeycomb mesh pattern, replacing a more traditional horizontal slatted design. The sedan showcases distinctive character lines that traverse the hood and side panels, culminating in LED taillights. The rear profile is refined with a subtle rear spoiler and additional creases on the bumper.
