Maharashtra Voter Turnout recorded at 58.22 per cent voter as of 5 pm

Maharashtra Election Voter Turnout: As of 5 pm, Maharashtra recorded a voter turnout of 58.22% according to the data provided by Voter Turnout App of the Election Commission of India. Meanwhile, Jharkhand saw a voter turnout of 67.59% across 38 assembly constituencies by 5 PM in the second and final phase of the state’s elections.

Voter Turnout till 5 pm was recorded at 60.83% in Aurangabad while Ahmednagar recorded 61.95% turnout. Mumbai on the other hand recorded at 49.07% and Nagpur recorded at 56.06%. Satara recorded the voter turnout at 64.16%.

Maharashtra’s elections will see a fierce battle between the ruling Mahayuti alliance — made up of the BJP, Shinde-led Shiv Sena, and Ajit Pawar’s NCP — and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), which includes Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and NCP (SP). Exit polls for the state will begin airing after 6:30 pm on November 20. While these polls will provide early indications of potential winners, it’s important to remember that they are based on surveys conducted after voting ends and do not reflect the official results.
