Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024: As the second phase of the Jharkhand Assembly elections kicked off on Wednesday morning, over 31% of the approximately 1.23 crore eligible voters had cast their votes by 11 AM across 38 constituencies. The voting is taking place in the second and final phase of the election. The ruling JMM-led INDIA alliance is aiming to retain power, banking on its welfare initiatives, while the BJP-led NDA is striving to reclaim control. The first phase of voting for the 81-member Assembly was held on November 13, with results set to be announced on November 23.

Jharkhand Elections 2024: Voting Date and Time

Voting for Jharkhand assembly elections began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm on Wednesday. Polling began at 7 AM across 14,218 booths in 12 districts and will continue until 5 PM. However, voting in 31 booths will conclude at 4 PM, although those still in the queue at that time will be allowed to vote, officials confirmed.

Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024: Exit Polls Date and Time

The Jharkhand exit poll results are set to be released shortly after voting concludes on November 20. According to the Election Commission of India’s guidelines, exit poll predictions can be broadcast starting from 6:30 PM on Wednesday. Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024: ECI Results Date and Time

The ECI will announce the results for Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024 on November 23. The Election Commission will begin the counting of votes at 8:00 am. The results for all constituencies will be out as the day progresses at results.eci.gov.in.
