Jharkhand Exit Poll Result 2024 Date time: The 81-member Jharkhand Assembly is set to vote on November 20 for its remaining 38 seats in the second and final phase of the state’s assembly elections. As the voting concludes, all eyes will turn to the much-anticipated exit poll results, which will be released soon after the polling process wraps up for both Jharkhand and Maharashtra.

The contest in Jharkhand is primarily between the ruling JMM-led INDIA alliance and the opposition BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Jharkhand is voting in two phases, with the first phase held on November 13. The final results will be announced on November 23, alongside those from Maharashtra. On Wednesday, voting will take place from 7 am to 5 pm, except for 31 booths, where voting will close an hour earlier at 4 pm. However, anyone in the queue at that time will still be allowed to vote.

Jharkhand Exit Poll Result 2024: Date and Time

Exit poll predictions for Jharkhand will be available after 6.30 pm on November 20, once the voting wraps up. This timing aligns with guidelines set by the Election Commission of India (ECI), which mandates that exit poll results cannot be published or broadcast until half an hour after the polling period ends.

The ECI’s guidelines are in accordance with Section 126A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, to prevent any external influence on voters.

As several news outlets and pollsters prepare to unveil their exit poll forecasts, these exit polls will give us an early idea of how voters may have leaned and what the election results could look like. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that exit polls are just predictions, and things like last-minute decisions or voter turnout can always change the final outcome.
