Top five best-selling two-wheeler brands in October 2024

In October 2024, two-wheelers saw double-digit growth. The festive season and the sales of commuter motorcycles, along with scooter sales from rural parts were a strong driving factor for sales. The world’s largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp saw a massive boost in sales and a slew of new product launches from various manufacturers also contributed towards growth. Let’s take a look at the top five best-selling two-wheeler brands in October 2024 and their YoY growth.

Best-selling two-wheeler brands in October 2024

In October, Hero leads, as usual. The company saw a strong sales drive from the rural market last month and the result was sales of 6,56,484 two-wheelers in October, leaving Honda behind by a strong margin. That said, Honda recorded sales of 5,53,120 units in October 2024, as compared to selling 4,62,747 units in October 2023.

Following Honda is TVS, having registered sales of 3,90,489 units last month. For TVS, its commuter motorcycles are the best sellers in the motorcycle segment, while scooters sell the most. The updated TVS Jupiter 110 has garnered good interest, while the Ntorq keeps churning numbers for the company.

Bajaj takes the fourth spot, having sold 2,55,909 units. The Pune-based two-wheeler maker has no scooters on offer in the ICE segment, however, the sheer number of Pulsar variants outnumbers most two-wheeler maker’s entire range of products. However, Bajaj has seen a decline in domestic sales last month compared to October 2023.

Suzuki rounds up the top 5 brands, having sold 1,04,940 units, marginally beating Royal Enfield to fifth place. Suzuki sells a wide range of two-wheelers in India, ranging from scooters to the full-blown Hayabusa. However, sales numbers are seen with the commuter segment and the Suzuki Access is the company’s best-seller.
