Top four Adventure motorcycle concepts from EICMA

EICMA is the stage for motorcycles — from production ones to concepts. This year, there were many concept motorcycles and there were four in particular that caught our attention. The four adventure motorcycle concepts were a mix of electric and ICE versions and here are our top pics of adventure motorcycle concepts from EICMA 2024.

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric

Royal Enfield unveiled the Himalayan electric last year and this year, showcased another iteration of the motorcycle called the Himalayan Electric 2.0. The motorcycle looks to have drawn design inspiration from the current-generation Himalayan, featuring a tall front section with a windscreen, USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, and a slim profile. RE has not revealed battery specifications yet, as the production version is a long way ahead.

BMW F 450 GS

The F 450 GS raised many eyebrows at EICMA, as the motorcycle is brand new and gets an all-new engine as well. Built to be a proper scaled-down version of the company’s flagship R 1300 GS, the F 450 GS gets USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, electronic aids, a flat seat, and wire-spoke wheels, ready to take on any terrain. The F 450 GS features a 48bhp twin0cylinder engine and the motorcycle is expected to hit the market next year.

Ultraviolette Concept X

The third motorcycle is an electric bike — the Ultraviolette Concept X. The motorcycle seems to be built on the same platform as the F77, but gets revised geometry for the front suspension, which is now a long-travel USD fork. The rear gets a monoshock and the motorcycle features adventure styling with tank shrouds, a windscreen, a single-piece seat, and a tall handlebar to offer the rider a relaxed position. There is no news about its battery specifications and the launch could be expected sometime next year.
