Royal Enfield Bear 650 Vs Continental GT 650: Specs, Features, Prices compared

Royal Enfield launched the Interceptor Bear 650, a scrambler based on the Interceptor 650, a few days back. Like the Bear, the Continental GT 650 is also a derivative model of the Interceptor. Yet, all three models serve different purposes and are very distinct from each other. We have already compared the Bear 650 with the Interceptor 650. It is now time to compare the Bear 650 with its other 650cc sibling and find out how both the bikes differ from each other.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Vs Continental GT 650: Dimensions

Being a scrambler, the Bear 650 is significantly longer than the GT 650. The former offers a wheelbase of 1,460 mm as compared to the 1398 mm wheelbase of the cafe racer which focuses more on straight line speed than better stability of a scrambler. Also, the Bear 650 offers a higher ground clearance of 184mm due to the revised headstock which should help when you take the bike off-road. That said, the Continental GT is 5 kg lighter than the Bear 650.
