US-based Morgan Stanley has opened its new global capacity centre (GCC) in Mumbai. The 1-million square feet office is located at Commerz III, International Business Park, Oberoi Garden City in Goregaon. The new office will consolidate Morgan Stanley’s global centre operations in Mumbai in one campus, accommodating over 8,500 staff.
“The office is designed to ensure a modernized and collaborative work environment, powered by seamless technology and sustainable solutions, to enhance efficiency and productivity,” Morgan Stanley said in a release
The campus supports multiple ways of working, accommodates accessibility needs, and delivers seamless connectivity and flexibility. The amenities support employees at all hours of the work week, with a variety of food and beverage choices in food halls, an on-site fitness centre and gym, and a health center offering a comprehensive suite of health benefits, including a pharmacy, acute care, and specialty services, it said.

Morgan Stanley rented the office space of 1.1 million sq ft this year, marking one of the largest commercial real estate lease deals in India. The almost 10-year lease was valued at more than Rs 2,122 crore, reports said earlier this year.
