Upcoming KTM 390 Enduro R spotted ahead of EICMA unveil

The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure range has been making a lot of news. If anyone has been following closely, the range also consists of an Enduro model called the KTM 390 Enduro R. This particular motorcycle was spotted in full ahead of its official EICMA unveil, and here are all the exciting details.

New KTM 390 Enduro R: Details

The KTM 390 Enduro R uses a trellis frame and sports a similar design to all other Enduro models from KTM, with a small headlight cowl, a slim profile, and minimal plastic bodywork. The motorcycle spotted ahead of EICMA reveals a single flat seat – a big differentiator compared to the upcoming 390 Adventure R – and the front cowl design, as the ADV gets a large windshield.

The new KTM 390 Enuro R will ride on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels as compared to the ADV, which gets a 17-inch rear wheel. The motorcycle gets USD forks at the front and a a monoshock at the rear, while the handlebar position is also different compared to the 390 Adventure R.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine specifications

The engine will be the 399cc unit that powers the 390 Duke currently. The engine makes 45.3bhp and 39Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This will be the same engine that the 390 Adventure R and the 390 Adventure will get, however, there could be slight changes to the gearing with the Enduro R model, which we will get to know more in the coming days.

The KTM 390 Enduro R might not come to India, which is a bummer. European markets have a huge interest in Enduro models and KTM’s sales will be focused there with this motorcycle. However, if it does come to India along with the 390 Adventure models, it will be an exciting move for enthusiasts.
