Petrol, Diesel Price Today 4 November 2024: Oil prices went up by more than $1 early on Monday after OPEC members decided to delay the planned December production by one month because of weak demand and an increase in the supply outside the group. Brent crude surged $1.18 per barrel whereas US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was at $1.20 per barrel.

As per the World Bank’s October Market Outlook, global commodity prices are predicted to lower by 5% in 2025. Markets are all focused on the upcoming US presidential elections scheduled for Tuesday. As per poll projections, it will be a tight race between Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former President Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, petrol consumption in India was up by 7.3% in October, driven by demand at the onset of the festive season whereas diesel sales were down by 3.3%.
