The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been in the news for a while now until it was revealed via spy shots a few days ago. Today, Maruti Suzuki officially announced bookings for the sedan and following that, the variant details have also surfaced. As per sources, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be available in four variants and will get segment-first features.
New Maruti Suzuki Dzire variants and features
The New Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be available in four variants upon launch — LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. All four variants will get Maruti Suzuki’s start-stop function, while the top-spec version will feature an electric sunroof, a first for the segment. That said, the new Dzire will get LED lighting, cruise control, climate control, and more.

The new Dzire will get a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity and as per reports, it could also get a blindspot monitoring system. In terms of safety features, the Dzire will come with ABS, EBD, ESP, and a host of other equipment including ISIFIX child seat mounts.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire engine specifications
The new Dzire will be powered by the company’s new Z12E petrol engine. The 1.2-litre three-cylinder unit makes 80bhp and 112Nm of peak torque with the help of a manual or an AMT gearbox. This is the same engine as the new Maruti Suzuki Swift.
When launched next week, the all-new Dzire will compete with the Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and the Honda Amaze in the segment. Also, the Honda Amaze will also be seeing a refresh soon, as Honda has been spotted testing the new Amaze.
