What to expect: Upcoming cars in November

Blink, and we find ourselves in the second-to-last month of the year. November is set to be a busy month for automobile manufacturers, with a series of launches and unveilings on the horizon. This includes the unveiling of the country’s most successful sedan, the entry of a certain European company into the compact SUV segment, and the introduction of a heavyweight nameplate in the electric vehicle market. Let’s take a look at what’s coming.

Upcoming cars in November: Maruti Suzuki Dzire

There’s been a string of leaked images of the all-new Dzire unveiling its muscular design. It sports an aggressive new front grille, pronounced character lines on the bonnet and the side panels and a new set of all-new alloy wheels. It will have all LED lights, a 9-inch floating touch screen, the first in the segment to offer a sunroof, a 360-degree camera and plenty of safety features like 6 airbags, Hill-Hold Assist and much more. Like the Swift, the Dzire will be powered by the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder that churns out 81 bhp and 111.7 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered in two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. 

Launch date: November 11

Upcoming cars in November: Skoda Kylaq

Skoda will make its debut in the sub-4 metre SUV segment with the Kylaq. The SUV will be officially unveiled on November 6th. The official price announcement is expected to take place in early 2025. The Kylaq remains the typical Skoda SUV design philosophy with a split headlight set-up and a wide butterfly-like front grill housing vertical slats and a muscular bumper. It will be equipped with features like front-ventilated seats, an all-digital instrument cluster, sunroof and automatic climate control. The Kylaq will be powered by a 1-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine with an output of 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque.
