With EICMA 2024 around the corners, the buzz around upcoming motorcycles has gained quite a bit of traction online. Most of the traction is centred around Royal Enfield which has been a prominent face at the annual motorcycle exhibition in Milan for the last few years. The Chennai-based bikemaker has ramped up its operations and presence in foreign markets in the past decade.
Hence, the palpable hype around every launch from Enfield is understandable. The Eicher subsidiary is gearing up to showcase a wide range of upcoming models at EICMA starting November 4. Some of them will be pre-production concepts while others will be the final production models. One of the latter is expected to be the new 650cc scrambler.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 details
Speculated to be named as Interceptor Bear 650, a patent of the same was leaked online a few weeks back. Royal Enfield has also filed a trademark for the same name in India. Test mules of the bike have been spied on numerous occasions in the past year or so. Recently the bike was teased by the company on its social media handles thus revealing its prospective debut at the EICMA.

The upcoming twin-cylinder scrambler has been teased once again in a new promotional video shared by Royal Enfield on its social media handles. As the same suggests, the Interceptor Bear will be based on the same chassis as Interceptor 650. Hence, we expect to find a lot of familiarity between the two models when the former is officially presented to the world at EICMA 2024 next week.
The most critical of them is the steel tubular chassis, however, the rear subframe in the scrambler is expected to be different from the roadster. Besides this, body panels, components and the overall design are also expected to remain unchanged.
