Syrma SGS opens electronics manufacturing facility

Syrma SGS Technology, an electronics systems design and manufacturing (ESDM) company, has inaugurated a new integrated electronics manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon, near Pune.

The 26.5-acre facility focuses on assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet the growing domestic demand, particularly in the automotive and industrial sectors. The first phase of the facility, launched on Thursday, is expected to create 1,000 direct jobs. The company is investing Rs 100 crore in the first phase at this facility.

“This Pune campus marks our first multi-facility campus, designed to serve customers across multiple sectors on a global scale,” said Satendra Singh, CEO of Syrma SGS.

The new facility significantly expands Syrma’s manufacturing footprint and complements its existing capacities in Chennai, Bangalore, Manesar, Gurgaon, Noida, and Baddi. Additionally, the company operates R&D centers in Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, and Stuttgart, Germany.

Syrma SGS caters to a wide range of sectors, including industrial appliances, automotive, healthcare, consumer products, and IT. It supplies Indian and global OEMs, offering services that span the entire product lifecycle. These services include product design, rapid prototyping, PCB assembly, box builds, and customized end-to-end solutions such as RFID tags, high-frequency magnetic components, repair and rework, and automatic tester development services.
