Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 Bobber may debut in November: What to expect?

Royal Enfield, known as the king of retro motorcycles, has been developing a Classic 350 Bobber. Previous reports have shared a series of spy shots along with trademark filings related to the new model. It is rumoured that the iconic motorcycle manufacturer may soon launch this bike as a competitor to the Jawa 42 Bobber at the upcoming Motoverse event. This three-day extravaganza is scheduled to take place in Goa from November 22 to 24. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet, the new motorcycle could potentially be named the Goan Classic 350. Here’s what we know so far about the Classic 350 Bobber.

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350: Design

The new Bobber version of the Classic 350 will maintain its signature retro design but will feature updated parts and components. Royal Enfield will offer multiple seating options, including a single seat and a split seat. According to spy images, the split seat has a scooped front that should provide decent lower back support and comes with a detachable pillion seat, similar to the Shotgun 650. Being a Bobber, the new Goan Classic 350 also showcases raised ape hanger U-shaped handlebars.

Royal Enfield ups the ante with a retro design with new broader and shorter fenders with an exposed rear wheel. It retains the traditional round headlamp with a chrome ring and a metal headlight cap. It also sports the ‘Tiger Eye’ pilot lamps. The Royal Enfield Bobber should be all LED lights like the updated Classic 350 and the top model could get LED indicators.

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350: Engine and Features

The Goan Classic 350 is equipped with a 349cc J-series engine that produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. It features a 5-speed gearbox. The Bobber retains components from the other motorcycles in the 350cc lineup, including telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, a 300 mm front disc brake, and a 270 mm rear disc brake. It comes standard with dual-channel ABS for added safety.

The Goan Classic 350, similar to the updated Classic 350, may feature adjustable brake and clutch levers. Its instrument console will include an analogue speedometer, an LCD multi-information display, and a Tripper navigation pod for the top model. Additionally, it will come equipped with a USB charging port.
