13:58 (IST) 21 Oct 2024 Q2 Earnings Live Updates: JM Financial on Tech Mahindra post Q2 results

“Underneath the headline numbers, Tech Mahindra showed progress on all three pillars of its strategy. On growth, larger account focus is visible – top-20 accounts led growth/new logo additions in BFSI. On margins, governance and rigour in fixed price contracts (likely a weak area before) are yielding better realisation. That is helping it balance near-term cost control (sub-con etc) with long-term investments (large deal capabilities, fresher infusion). The biggest improvement, in our view, is the new management’s clear articulation of turnaround progress. That, along with tangible results, should instil confidence,” said JM Financial in a research report.
