Maruti Suzuki Dzire launch date confirmed: What to expect?

Maruti Suzuki has officially announced that the new-generation Dzire will be launched on November 11. The media review drives will take place in the first week of November, so stay tuned for our first impressions of the new sedan. The Dzire is the most successful sedan across all segments in the Indian market and will go up against the likes of the Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor and the upcoming Honda Amaze. Here’s all we know about the Dzire.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Design

Maruti Suzuki has been burning the midnight oil to ensure that the Dzire looks nothing like the Swift. The sedan continues to be based on its hatchback sibling, but the four-wheeler wants it to look distinctive, premium and have a presence of its own.

The spy images reveal that the Dzire has received a makeover, replacing its honeycomb grille with a fresh design featuring bold horizontal slats reminiscent of Audi’s distinctive aesthetic. The Dzire has evolved from its sweet, girl-next-door look to a more assertive street presence, characterized by a muscular bonnet adorned with striking character lines.

At the rear, the design is enhanced with sleek LED tail lamps and a slender metallic strip positioned above them.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Interiors and Features

Maruti Suzuki has given the Dzire a significant upgrade, packed with an array of features. A recent spy image has revealed that the new Dzire will include a single-panel sunroof, a first in this segment. Drawing from the Swift’s offerings, the updated Dzire is anticipated to come equipped with a 9-inch infotainment system, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, and an analogue instrument cluster featuring a multi-information display.

In terms of safety, the Dzire is set to come with features, including six airbags, hill-hold assist, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), a reverse parking camera, and both Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD).
