Godrej energy EPC arm eyes Rs 2,000 crore revenues in 3 years

Godrej Enterprises’ energy solutions arm is targeting revenues of Rs 2,000 crore in the next three years.

“We are aiming for 20% CAGR growth over the next three to five years,” said Raghavendra Mirji, executive vice president and business head, Energy Solutions, Godrej Enterprises Group. The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company expects to generate Rs 1,500 crore in revenue for FY25, he said.

Mirji stated that power infrastructure—including substations, transmission lines, solar projects—and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services for sectors such as data centres, hospitality and metro projects as key growth drivers. “We see significant opportunities in these areas over the next three to four years,” he said.

“With surging power demand, infrastructure needs to expand at double the pace to keep up,” he added.

For FY25, the company has secured an order book worth Rs 2,400 crore in clean energy power transmission, focusing on 400kV and 765kV segments. It has commissioned over 80 substations and laid more than 300 kilometres of transmission lines up to 765kV.

Currently, the company is executing its first Greenfield 765kV air-insulated substation (AIS) project, spanning Rajasthan and Haryana, along with a Greenfield 765/400kV gas-insulated substation (GIS) project in Maharashtra.

In Mumbai, Godrej completed electrical works for one of the city’s underground metro projects, which is expected to reduce congestion by 15%.

In the renewable sector, it commissioned a 12.5 MWp rooftop solar project for a textile facility in Madhya Pradesh, covering over 1 million sq ft—one of India’s largest rooftop installations and the biggest in Madhya Pradesh.

The company also delivered its largest data centre project, a 12 MW facility in southern India, valued at Rs 78 crore. The center, designed to house 4,000 racks, meets IGBC Gold standards for energy efficiency.

With over 35 MW of data centre capacity executed across greenfield and colocation projects in key hubs such as Mumbai, Chennai and Noida, Godrej Enterprises is well-positioned to support the sector’s rapid expansion, the company said.
