Till date, companies like Reliance Industries, Swiggy, ITC, Vodafone Idea, Bharti Airtel, SBI, Nestle India, Vedanta, Lupin, M&M, Ola Electric, Zomato, Hyundai Motor, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki India, L&T, Paytm, Adani Enterprises, HDFC Bank, BPCL, HPCL, and all of IT majors like TCS, HCL Tech, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and many others have released their quarter results.

The third quarter is expected to witness growth slowdown of 80-90 bps YoY to 4-6 per cent due to weaker performance in construction and industrial commodities sectors, as well as subdued investment-linked segments. The falling rupee is also one of the reasons a lot of companies in the import-sensitive sectors are on the edge.

In line with the performance by India Inc till now, RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra had earlier said that it is indicating a mild recovery in the manufacturing sector. “Mining and electricity are rebounding from monsoon related disruptions in Q2. Business expectations remain upbeat, as evidenced from the PMI manufacturing future output index. Services sector activity continues to be resilient,” he had said while delivering his speech after the three-day MPC meet. Also, the Union Budget 2025, on February 1, announced reform policies directed towards consumption boost, which may help recovery for India Inc, going forward.
