Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 heads to Europe — to be showcased at EICMA

Ultraviolette F77 is probably the only electric motorcycle in India which is tuned more towards performance. Earlier in April this year, the Bengaluru-based EV startup launched the facelifted F77 called the F77 Mach 2 at a price of Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Six months after its launch in the home market, the new F77 Mach 2 is now headed for international markets.

Through a media release, Ultraviolette has announced that the F77 Mach 2 has earned a global certification under the ‘United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE)’ regulation. The L3e certification grants approval for road use across 40 countries worldwide, including the European Union.

The F77 MACH 2 is approved for road use for A1 and A2 licence holders across Europe and other global markets. Ultraviolette says the latest L3e certification aligns with Ultraviolette’s strategy to “Make in India for the World”. The company has already started to ship the electric sports bike to Germany and Turkey which will be followed by other markets in Europe.
