HCL Tech Quarterly Earnings and Results Today Live Updates: With the fiscal third quarter earnings season already on and IT giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) having released its results on January 9, HCL Tech is all set to announce its Q3 numbers today (January 13). HCL Tech had, in a regulatory filing on January 8, said, “The Company will announce the Third Quarter FY 2025 Results, ended December 31, 2024, on Monday, January 13, 2025, post-closing of Indian stock markets. Following the results announcement, senior management of HCL Technologies will conduct audio conference call at 7:30 p.m. (IST) for 60 minutes to discuss the results followed by the detailed question-answer session.”

According to brokerage firms, HCL Tech is expected to post a steady growth despite challenges being faced by the IT sector such as furloughs and cross-currency headwinds. The IT major is projected to post revenue growth driven by strong performance in Software and Products & Platforms, with improved EBIT margins on the back of operational efficiencies.

An analysis report by JM Financial said, “HCL’s growth should be stronger (5.5 per cent cc QoQ) on specific factors (Software sales, in-organic). USD’s strength against a basket of currencies means USD print will be even lower ((1.4)-1.1%). Cross-currency headwinds could also erode the benefit of INR depreciation on margins, at least partially. We expect 10-50 bps QoQ margin expansion across top-5.” The brokerage firm maintained that HCL Tech is projected to report the highest growth among large-caps.

Further, Elara Capital said, “HCL Tech, which deferred its wage hike from July to September, may witness an impact on IT Services’ margins (we factor in 60bps impact). The impact is likely to be mitigated by momentum in the P&P business (expect 30%+ margin in Q3E), resulting in a 40bps QoQ improvement at the company level.”
