CABI by SKIL unveils Pink Module to boost safety for women cab drivers

The cab service platform, Cabi by SKIL, has launched the pink module as an experimental project in Bengaluru that aims to ensure a safe and comfortable travel experience, for women passengers, by employing women drivers who are specially trained in exceptional service and self-defence. Once successful in the Indian Silicon Valley, the service will be expanded to other metropolitan areas as well as Tier-II and III cities.

Speaking about the initiative, Vikash Kejriwal, COO, SKIL Travel, said, “Women’s safety is paramount, especially when travelling alone or at night. Our Pink Module initiative is in response to cater to this need, creating a more inclusive environment for cab hailing. By providing women drivers who are trained in self-defence, we are looking to create a safer and empowering environment for our women passengers.”

Alongwith the pink module, Cabi also offers passengers a variety of features, including concierge-style services, an online/self-booking tool, and a WhatsApp bot for real-time bookings. These offerings guarantee a seamless travel experience for all passengers across more than 250 cities in India, solidifying CABI’s position as the top choice for corporate travellers nationwide.
