Bajaj Pulsar N125 — Variants explained

The 125cc segment is getting sportier, and the TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R, and the latest launch, Bajaj Pulsar N125, are good examples. Launched at Rs 94,707, ex-showroom, the new Pulsar N125 is available in two variants — LED Disc and LED Disc BT. The latter is priced at Rs 98,707, ex-showroom. Let’s take a close look at the two variants and how they differ.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 — Variants

Starting with the base variant, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 LED Disc version, this trim gets an LED headlight and a disc brake up front, as the name suggests. This version also gets a slimmer rear ture, a basic LCD instrument cluster, and a conventional electric starter. The motorcycle is available in four colour choices: Caribbean Blue, Cocktail Wine Red, Pearl Metallic White, and Ebony Black.

Moving on to the range-topping LED Disc BT version, the variant gets a wider rear tyre, a larger LCD instrument console with phone connectivity, an Integrated Starter Generator for quieter starts, and an auto engine start-stop system to extract more mileage. The Bajaj pulsar N125 LED Disc BT variant is available in three dual-tone shades: Ebony Black with Cocktail Wide Red, Pewter Grey with Citrus Rush, and Ebony Black with Purple Fury.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 — Engine specifications

While the two differ in terms of features they offer, both versions of the Bajaj Pulsar N125 share the same engine, a 124.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled unit which makes 11.8 bhp and 11 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Sporty Bajaj Pulsar N125’s primary competitors in the segment include the TVS Raider, Hero Xtreme 125R, and the Honda SP 125.
