Tracking buzzing stocks: Adani Ports, Tech Mahindra among top gainers; Hindalco, Tata Motors among the top losers on December 30 – Check complete list here

The Indian stock markets ended on a negative note on Monday, December 30. The Sensex dropped by 450.94 points, or 0.57%, closing at 78,248.13, while the Nifty lost 168.50 points, or 0.71%, ending at 23,644.90.

The Nifty Bank index also ended the day in the red, ending the day at 50,952.75, down by 385.55 points or 0.70 per cent.

Sensex Top Gainers

Among the 30 stocks on the Sensex pack, Zomato led the pack, surging by 3.15 per cent, followed by HCL Tech with a 1.30 per cent increase, and Tech Mahindra, up by 1.16 per cent. IndusInd Bank and Sun Pharma followed the top 5 gainers list, ending the day in green, up by 0.77 per cent and 0.46 per cent, respectively.

Sensex Top Losers

The top 5 laggards on the Sensex 30 pack included Tata Motors, shedding by 2.24 per cent, followed by Titan, declining 1.57 per cent. M&M fell by 1.38 per cent, NTPC down 1.10 per cent and ICICI Bank, decreased by 1.08 per cent. The list further followed with SBI, Maruti, HDFC Bank, Infosys and so on.

Nifty 50 Top Gainers

The top gainers on the Nifty included Adani Ports, which surged by 7.26 per cent, followed by Tech Mahindra , up by 1.03 per cent. HCL Tech saw a surge of 0.99 per cent. Furthermore, in the top 5 gainers IndusInd Bank and Shriram Finance posted a gain of 0.80 per cent and 0.79 per cent, respectively.

Nifty 50 Top Losers

On the other side, the top losers on the Nifty 50 were led by Hindalco, declining by 2,32 per cent. The top 5 laggards list followed closely by Tata Motors and Trent, decreasing by 2.03 per cent and 2.01 per cent, respectively. BEL fell by 2 per cent and Wipro dropped by 1.65 per cent, closing the day on a red note.

Nifty Midcap 50 gainers

In the Nifty Midcap 50 today, gainers included Lupin (3.96), Vodafone Idea (3.75), Indus Towers (3.17), The Indian Hotels Company (2.36), Aurobindo Pharma (2.11).
