Toyota Rumion festive edition launched in India

Toyota has been on a roll, launching festive editions of the Glanza, Taisor, and Hyryder. Now, the company has launched the Rumion festive edition, which gets a host of accessories at no extra cost, giving customers a compelling choice for the MPV. Here’s a more detailed look at the Toyota Rumion festive edition.

Toyota Rumion festive edition — What is it?

The Toyota Rumion festive edition is based on the standard variants of the MPV, but gets accessories from Toyota worth Rs 20,608 for free. These include mud flaps, mats, chrome door visor, and a spoiler. The Rumion festive edition also gets garnishes for the tailgate, rear bumper, headlamp, number plate, and body mouldings.

Apart from the accessories, there are no changes and the engine remains to be the 1.5-litre petrol unit that makes 102bhp and 138Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The Rumion festive edition can be had in S, G, and V trims, and also in CNG versions.

The Toyota Rumion primarily competes with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, which it is based on (rebadged), while also taking on the Kia Carens, Hyundai Alcazar, and the Toyota Innova Crysta in terms of the type of vehicle it is.
