Petrol, Diesel Price Today 27 December 2024: Oil prices witnessed a slight movement on Friday but continued on track for a weekly surge, triggered by economic stimulus measures that could boost recovery in China, the world’s largest oil importer. As per the latest report, Brent crude futures declined by 1 cent to $73.25 per barrel whereas US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude went down by 2 cents to $69.60 per barrel.

According to the Reuters report, despite the slight decline recorded daily, Brent measured a 0.4 percent weekly profit, and WTI hiked by 0.2 percent throughout this week. The American Petroleum Institute‘s weekly report disclosed a 3.2 million-barrel fall in US crude inventories last week. Traders are waiting for the confirmation of this decline from the Energy Information Administration’s official inventory report.
