Tracking buzzing stocks: Dr Reddy’s, IndusInd Bank among top gainers; Hindalco, SBI Among the Top Losers on December 27 – Check complete list here

Indian stock markets ended the week on a positive note on December 27. The Sensex ended the day at 78,699.07, up by 226.59 points or 0.29 per cent, while the Nifty managed a gain of 63.20 points or 0.27 per cent, closing at 23,813.40.

The Nifty Bank index also ended the day in the green, ending the day at 51,311.30, up by 140.60 points or 0.27 per cent.

Sensex Top Gainers

Among the 30 stocks on the Sensex pack, M&M ports led the pack, surging by 2.47 per cent, followed by IndusInd Bank with a 2.30 per cent increase, and Bajaj Finance, up by 1.37 per cent. Tata Motors and Bajaj Finserv followed the top 5 gainers list, ending the day in green, up by 1.32 per cent and 1.32 per cent, respectively.

Sensex Top Losers  

The top 5 laggards on the Sensex 30 pack included SBI, shedding by 1.29 per cent, followed by Tata Steel, declining 1 per cent. Adani Ports fell by 0.88 per cent, Zomato down 0.75 per cent and UltraTech Cement, decreased by 0.72 per cent. The list further followed with HCL Tech, LT, Titan, TCS, PowerGrid and Bharti Airtel.

Nifty 50 Top Gainers

The top gainers on the Nifty included Dr Reddy, which surged by 2.72 per cent, followed by IndusInd Bank, up by 2.37 per cent. M&M saw a surge of 2.33 per cent. Furthermore, in the top 5 gainers Tata Motors and Eicher Motor posted a gain of 1.78 per cent and 1.51 per cent, respectively.

Nifty 50 Top Losers

On the other side, the top losers on the Nifty 50 were led by Hindalco, declining by 1.73 per cent. The top 5 laggards list followed closely by SBI, Coal India, ONGC and BEL closing the day on a red note.

Nifty Midcap 50 gainers

In the Nifty Midcap 50 today, gainers included Oracle Financial Services Software (2.98), Lupin (2.20), Alkem Laboratories  (1.97), IDFC First Bank (1.97), APL Apollo Tubes  (1.21).
