Ventive Hospitality IPO to list on Dec 30: Cautious investors limit GMP to 10% – Here’s why

Ventive Hospitality IPO, Allotment Status: Ventive Hospitality, a key player in the hospitality sector, is set to make its debut on the stock market this coming Monday, December 30.

The IPO bidding for Ventive Hospitality kicked off on December 20 and concluded on December 24. The allotment process was efficiently wrapped up by December 26.

The price band for the issue was set between Rs 610 to Rs 643 per share, with a minimum lot size of 23 shares.

Ventive Hospitality IPO – Grey Market Premium

Even before the official listing, Ventive Hospitality’s shares, as of now, are trading on a decent note in the grey market. Ventive Hospitality GMP stands at Rs 68, translating to an 10.58 per cent premium or an estimated listing of Rs 711 per share over the IPO price.

Grey market trends often offer a sneak peek into investor sentiment but it is also important to note that the GMP is not an official indicator of the actual listing price and may fluctuate, as it reflects market speculation in the unofficial grey market.

Ventive Hospitality IPO – Subscription numbers

The response to the IPO has been positive, achieving an subscription rate of over 10.33 times the available shares.

Breaking it down by investor categories:

Retail Investors: The IPO was subscribed 6.19 times.

Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs): This category recorded a subscription of 9.58 times.

Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs): Leading the pack, this segment saw a subscription rate of 14.6 times.

Ventive Hospitality IPO – Financial Highlights

Ventive Hospitality’s financial results in the fiscal year 2024 reported a revenue from operations of Rs 478 crore, marking an 11 per cent year-on-year increase. Moreover, the profit after tax surged by 27 per cent to reach Rs 166 crore.

The IPO was managed by JM Financial, Axis Capital, HSBC Securities & Capital Markets, ICICI Securities, IIFL Securities, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, and SBI Capital Markets. Kfin Technologies served as the registrar for the issue.
